This was the first year that we attempted to keep Lucas up for the fireworks. Just as the actual show was starting, at 10:15 PM, Lucas decided he had had enough. He told Jake he wanted to go home and go to bed. Poor kid. We had a great day though together with the McNelly family and enjoyed the firework show from their deck.
